I’ll let the iPod do it for me:
Drive by Savatage
Jangalene by Golden Earring
A Million to One by Helloween
All This Time by Rage (not Rage against the Machine)
Liar by The Poor
Lickin’ the Gun by Bruce Dickinson
The German Sub/to the Nazi Hideout Indiana Jones
Out of My System by Gary Moore
All the Way Home by Spinal Tap
Tourniquet by Evanescence
On a Night Like You by Golden Earring

Stick it Out by Rush
Springtime by Spinal Tap
Capricorn by Motorhead
Private Investigations by Dire Straits
Lost Johnny By Motorhead
One Bad Habit by Twisted Sister
Pain by Doro
Necrophilia by Savatage
I’m suprised that the two Spinal Tap songs came out since they are both on the same album. This is out of 2579 songs.
I thought I’d revive this one. Out of 4857 songs this is the best iTUNES could do?

I have what I call my “Summer Mix.” It’s a work in progress.
Weezer - Island in the Sun Gorrilaz - Clint Eastwood Cake - Mexico Barenaked Ladies - Pinch Me Phantom Planet - California Fastball - The Way Modest Mouse - Float On Me First and the Gimme Gimmes - Summertime Red Hot Chili Peppers - Zephyr
Now, some of them have obvious conenctions with summer (“Summertime”, Island in the Sun) others tie into summer if you know the lyrics (“Pinch Me,” “The Way,”) and others just have that laid-back, summer “feel” to them (“Zephyr”, “Float On.”)
Note that I avoided certain obvious songs, like “Summer of '69,” etc…This is because a) I’ve got a mostly alt-rock theme going here, and classic rock would muck it up, abd b) just because a song mentions summer, doesn’t mean that is “feels” like a summer song. You know what I mean?
Hypnotic Underworld: Escaped and Lost down in Medina - The Ghost Truckers Atlas - Modest Mouse City of Quartz - Marianne Faithful Grounds for Divorce - Wolf Parade The Sequence - Booker T. When I go deaf - Low Time out from the world - Goldfrapp Through Time - Roisin Murphy Comfort me Sparklehorse Showbizz - Muse Everywhere - (A+) Machines Devil in the Details - Bright Eyes Waitress - CloudCult This Weather - Patrick Wolf The NIght is a blackbird - Augie March Only this moment - Royksopp Arise - Mercury Rev Tigerbastard - Mu Fistful of Love - Antony & The Johnsons The medication is wearing off - Eels
Leave it to me to nto actually read what the OP wanted…

I use Winamp and though I can play songs randomly, it doesn’t “order” them randomly. I can drag and drop songs to where I want them, but that’s not exactly the same as having the program randomize. In any case, I’m in the early stages of putting together another fake podcast and I’m on 2 different tangents. I’m not sure which one I’ll go with, but what’s on my playlist right now are the songs I’m playing around with. I put songs in Winamp then change them around in the Playlist to see which songs fit together well. When I have a list I’m fairly happy with I put them together as a rough mix in an editing program that does real mixes. I listen to that a few times to see if it works as a whole then I make the show then the web page.
The first songs, up to and including Coldcut, are actually in a rough mix already, in that order, though I’m thinking about replacing a couple of the songs. The rest are random songs in alphabetical order that I haven’t yet figured out how they’ll be put together. Not all of them will make the final cut, and many might be replaced by other songs. There’s enough there for at least 2 “shows.”

Hey, that was a nice sampling. Thank you, i Tunes.
I don’t think it’s a horrible movie at all. The only reason I went to see it was because Roger Ebert gave it four stars. I don’t always agree with Ebert when he doesn’t like movies, but if he gives something 4 stars I almost always agree, which makes me want to see other things he gives 4 stars to. Kalifornia was one I agreed with. It’s a fascinating movie, though very violent. It’s the first thing I remember seeing Brad Pitt in and bought his creepy, scary character 100%. I’ve always looked at him as a serious actor (as opposed to a pretty boy) because that’s the first thing I saw him in.
This is very similar to the hip-hop rap playlist I was listening to when I had a memorable run in with a little kid in a mall recently.
