Maybe he was half in the bag during the interview? I dunno, with some folks, a few discreet pops out of the ol’ vodka bottle hidden in the bathroom, it calms 'em down and makes them look more rational.

Wait a minnit. I’m havin’ trouble keepin’ the bête noire du jour straight here. I thought this thread was about slamming Bush? Ain’t you talkin’ about Cheney with that Halliburton stuff?
