P.S. If Fulbright isn’t enough, Google “Hugo Black.” He was BOTH one the most liberal Supreme Court justices ever AND a Klansman. ---

Like many politicians of the era, Black joined the Klan for his political career and then later said it was a mistake. But again, history cannot be projected onto modern times. Find a liberal Klansman today and I’ll be more impressed. ---

Does anyone doubt that most of Louisiana’s Klansmen loved Huey Long, who sought the Presidency by running well to FDR’s left? There are loads of people in MANY Western lands who love the goodies that Big Government and/or socialism provide, but who aren’t keen on bringing in foreigners to share those goodies. Trust me- Marine LePen is not pledging to reduce taxes or shrink government. ---

Yes, left-wing and racist can coexist. That wasn’t the point. Find me a “left-wing Klansman” TODAY and you’ll have a point that relates to the original discussion. ---
