I heard recently that Gerald Ford was the first president to visit Ford’s theater since the asassination of Lincoln. And the person who told me this was surprised. I wonder why? If I were a president, and the last guy with your title to come here left feet first, I’d be reluctant too. Of course, we are talking about Gerald Ford here. I looked Ford up in my Funky Lowballs encyclopedia, and his entry read simply: _see Chevy Chase._ The following statement is true. The preceding statement was false. ---
