# Let's Talk About Long Underwear

Check out your local dollar store, they have very workable footless tight like thingy’s, that do it for me. They aren’t as loose fitting as your average long undies, but they do the job. I can even wear them under my jeans!
I looked into the real ones, but was too cheap, right before Christmas. I am delighted with them. And a $2 a shot, I have 3 pairs. Tops are easy to come by at any second hand store, I find.

Since when? But at any rate, the silk ones are great. Wore them over a couple weeks of Xmas and New Year’s in Central Europe a few years back.
I imagine the Duofold brand cotton inside/wool outside ones are pretty warm, and they’re fairly inexpensive as well. Not super high-tech, but that’s not what you say you need anyway.

I haven’t tried actual silk, but I really don’t like “silk-like.” I find it moves funny under my clothes, and it’s not nearly as warm as thermal. I like thermal that’s…jeez, I don’t know how to describe it. The spaces in the fabric’s texture are smaller than regular thermal. Meg&Lilly’s are comfy, and they sell them at Big Lots for $9-15 for both top and bottom.
