One interesting example is Kosmischer Laufer, instrumental music that was suggested to be from the 1970’s/80’s and was the hidden music that drove the DDR to athletic success, or some such bollocks. likelihood is, it is [fully contemporary](https://www.spin.com/2013/06/olympic-sized-hoax-lost-krautrock-warm-up-tapes-mysteriously-surface/), but [very good](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqNouTkVCJA). It doesn’t actually matter if the story is fake or not. ---

The **Walk Hard** soundtrack is entirely comprised of original songs written in the distinctive styles of bands and artists from the 50s to the 80s. They’re all incredibly well done. This one is a take on the Beatles/George Harrison.
