Yeah, I get that. I still say that’s a matter of cultural context.

I just watched the film on HBO on Demand last night. It seemed a bit overly theatrical - yes, I know it was based on a play, but still. The banter was a bit beyond belief for a group of kids that age, even if they were considered intelligent and above average. Just found it a bit hard to believe that a group of boys that age would be like that - even back in the 1980’s.

However, I was glad to discover that I am not crazy and that Frances de la Tour really does look like Allison Janney with bad make up.

And to think I watched a recent Harry Potter film and thought they did a great job of make up on Allison.
