# Let's talk Christmas dinner.

This years the family voted for fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, corn and biscuits. Last year it was lasagna. Dessert is going to be a choice of coconut cream pie, apple pie or cheesecake.

Be very afraid! Homeowner’s payed up, is it?

Heretofore simple pot roast dinner has just bloated to include horseradish/cheddar/bacon dip ( :eek: ) and homemade shrimp bisque. Sparkling cranberry juice and vodka cocktails to start.

I just made the chocolate pots a creme. Whisking over a low flame for 9 minutes _sucks_. My feet hurt! I’m off to wrap some presents…

Anybody want to mail me a pair of fat pants for xmas?

Since there is only going to be three of us for dinner this year I let my two girls (8 & 13) pick the menu. Fried chicken, Buffalo chicken wings, sweet potato fries, latkes and pot de creme. Fried, fried, fried starch, fried starch, and heavy cream. Oh how I love those girls!
