# Let's talk pickle distribution on a sandwich

Being British, I take this question to refer to a cheese and pickle sandwich (recently [discussed extensively](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/cheese-and-pickle-sandwich-british/967016) in this forum). I say it means (in British English) Cheddar cheese and Branston Pickle (Link going straight to video: [https://www.bringoutthebranston.co.uk/](https://www.bringoutthebranston.co.uk/) )

Branston comes either with big chunks or little chunks. IF you have to put Branston in your sandwich, go for big chunks, as it at least affords you some bite-to-bite variation, rather than everything tasting of the same degree of masking pickle.
