# Letterman's Lovelife: Does it Matter?

Which strategy seems to have backfired rather spectacularly. To the viewing public’s detriment.

Seems the vultures, having been denied fresh hot scandal, have decided to microwave what they’ve got, and serve it up anyway. So much for getting out ahead of the story…

I recall a story where the cast and crew of the worst TV show on-air at the end of the season is executed. I’d be happy enough to trial that concept with TV journalists…

So he didn’t have sex?

Who cares if he hurt his wife? I mean, sure, the interested parties might- _but it’s really none of our business_. It only affects his career if people like you decide that it should affect his career.

Oh, and… I thought it had been established that he wasn’t married at the time?

Tell me something- does this bother you so much because you simply hate adultery? Or is there, maybe, some sort of ulterior motive in your concern?
