What’s so egregious or unbelievable about saying Palin talked about wanting to quit her job to make more money (especially since she actually did that), or saying she doesn’t cook, or that she had to have known he was boning Bristol since they slept in the same room? It doesn’t sound to me like he’s really try to smear Palin or be mean, it sounds like interviewers are pulling teeth, trying to get him to say what he knows, so he says what he knows. I think the suggestion that he’s just making it all up is pretty far fetched, but get under your blanket and make your “Leave Sarah alone” video if you want. ---

I wonder if there are any management/PR firms that specialize in helping people make the most out of their 15 minutes (i.e. people whose fame is fast got and fleeting and are smart enough to know it, aka Levi Johnston/Sanjaya Malakar/Fawn Hall/Evelyn Nesbit/Roxy Hart). There’s probably a lot of money to be made but you have to strike very soon. There’s talk of a book deal but if I were a publisher I wouldn’t advance him very much because 1- He’s already yesterday’s news and going into his “Miss Roxy Hart says goodnight” number (maybe Larry Birkhead can play Velma) 2- How much can a not particularly bright teenager say that’s of interest beyond the “Bristol’s mom is a bitch/she’s a big fat bitch/she’s the biggest bitch in the whole wide world” number he’s already sung? 3- I seriously doubt anybody would buy the book (it’s one you leaf through in the bookstore and maybe buy when it’s in the $1.97 bin _if_ that) Currently he’s got a firm offer of $25,000 for a nude shoot. A good agent _might_ be able to get him $100,000 or more, OR they could get him some kind of reality show that poor Levi will never have the brains to think up the hook for (“The Courtship of Tripp’s Father”?) that might extend his half-life and up his nude pics price to $250,000. However he’ll be lucky to get $250 for full on gay porn in another couple of years. So I wonder if there are such agencies, and if not how you should go about raking in the maximum moolah before the spotlight is gone. ---

Well, even if you don’t believe a word of what he says, you can at least conclude that the Palins inspire so little loyalty in the father of their daughter’s baby that he is willing to say severely unflattering things about them. ---

Maybe, just _maybe_, it sounds more like he cares about being famous than he does about embarassing Bristol (who isn’t her mother), and more importantly, his son? (Someday, at least). Some father. It has nothing to do with Sarah – I don’t give a shit about her. But the fact is, do it for your kid’s sake. (Especially when it sounds like he isn’t making an effort to be there for Tripp.) Dude sounds like a real class act. ---

I thought the story was that he’s been _trying_ to see his son, but now Bristol thinks he and his family are “white trash” _gasp!_ and she won’t let him. Unless she wants to go running around with her girlfriends – then she dumps the baby on him and has her fun. This could be outdated, or entirely incorrect, of course. See, kids, what happens when you get your girlfriend knocked up? ---
