# LG V35 ThinQ screen turns on too easily. I switched from an S8 to the ThinQ a few months ago and I’m really not liking it. Mainly because to turn the screen off you need to hit the power button which is on the back of the phone. So instead of just tapping a side button you actually have to lift the phone a bit. Yes, First World problem but annoys me. Anyway, the other thing I hate about it is if I’m carrying it in a shirt pocket it’ll often come on by itself and I have to shut it off. It happens whether it’s facing me or away. It’s there a way to stop that? I have it set to come on with a double tap which I like, but that’s because I don’t need to hit the power button to use it. It’s there a setting where it only comes on when I specifically do something? I have it set so I have to swipe for the home screen, but I’d like it to not turn on at all if I’m simply carrying it in my pocket. Thanks ---

If you carry it _upside down_ in your shirt pocket does it still come on spontaneously?
