There’s your cite. Now everybody can go back to making fun of **Apos** for his somewhat perplexingly worded OP. But my $0.02 is on **Apos** ’ side on this one. He didn’t tell **Quiddity** what could be discussed in **Lib** ’s thread; he just pointed out that **Quiddity** didn’t seem to _understand_ what was being discussed. For **Lib** to accuse him of being “bold and pretentious” and, incidentally, a hypocrite (for “telling others not to do what you’re doing”) was pretty offensive, IMO.

Not to mention (she says, mentioning it) that I found **Liberal** ’s “gentle metaphor” rather graphic and disgusting, and believe the underlying accusation of “threadshitting” to be completely unwarranted. **Apos** was responding to a post that purported to be about the substance of the OP but that, in fact, completely missed the point. He then hung around in the thread, obviously willing to engage more in the discussion. It wasn’t a case of “anybody who bothers with this stuff is L0000zer” _doorslam_.
Okay, now back to your regularly scheduled derailment. Sorry.
