Now reports are that Ka-Daffy has been speaking live on TV, trying to rally the faithful. Just his voice, no image. At least part of the “speech” was on BBC until someone pulled the plug.

Ooooh. Now BBC is reporting the rebels have uncovered secret documents showing collusion between the CIA, MI6 and Libyan intelligence regarding post-9/11 terror suspects. Looks like Tripoli was being used as a rendiiton center for up to 8 suspects as recently as 2002. This will probably be big news.
More on that. We had thought the “black sites” Bush used for “enhanced interrogation” were mainly in eastern Europe, but Libya appears to have been one as well.
I believe we had one here in Thailand too, the old U-tapao Air Foce base on the Eastern Seaboard. Hambali may have beent taken there after his capture north of Bangkok eight years ago.
But earlier when I said “as recently as 2002,” I meant “as long ago as 2002.”
Sounds like a second convoy may have crossed now too.

Well, I got anemail yesterday from the daughter of Gaddafi promising me untold riches for lending her my account details- plus a little bit of candy for spending purposes.
Is there anything these scammers won’t use?
Collusion between Western and Libya intelligence services is hardly surprising. I, howewer, liked the ironical fact that one of the CNT leaders had been handed to Libya, and that friendly thanking and congratulions messages exchanged about this have been uncovered.
(Said leader stated it shouldn’t affect reationships between Libya and the UK/USA, but that he intended to drag both governments to court)

Ka-Daffy just released another sound recording. It basically says: “I’m not in Niger, nyah nyah nyah!”
Apparently the NTC consists of mathematicians. They arrange themselves in a circle and then define the larger region to be the inside.
And now they go and jump the gun! Rebels just entered Bani Walid, a day ahead of the surrender deadline.
The loyalists in Bani Walid and Sirte are putting up quite a fight!
I guess there’s nothing more dangerous than a man who can’t win but has nothing left to lose.
NATO, in its stated mission to “protect civilians” from Gaddaffi’s forces, but not from the rebel forces, has ensured that feeling.
That said, it’s over, this is the finish. It’ll be ugly, and vicious, but it’s about over. I simply hope that the Western governments are happy with what they get, in a “be careful what you wish for” sort of way.
