I had looked up if hair and nails continued to grow after death and the computer answered with an article that says this theory is not true.

I had answered a question about hair and nails growing after  
death and the article said that this wasn’t true.

Cecil already answered this question. It just looks like they grow cause your skin gets dry and shrivels up - and the cuticles around your nails retract.
