I recently discovered this HBO series. I love the understated, deadpan style. This show is just hilarious! Is anyone else watching? Care to discuss?

It must be on repeats because it was canceled over a year ago. I thought it was hilarious and was very sad it got canceled so quick.

**Loved it too.** That said, I’m not surprised it got cancelled after a couple seasons — it seemed like the central premise — _Tim follows bad advice and gets mired in an outsized predicament_ — seemed constraining enough that it started to get repetitive.

Sometimes just a few seasons is enough of some things.

I think that is what happened to _My Name Is Earl_. First season, funny, second season, ran out of gas.
