Many, but not by many bands of note. I have a 45 from the 80s that remade it with an updated list. “Knick and Knack and Kinks and Queen and Cars and Who and Seventeen and Spyro Gyra Beatle break up Styx is Kiss without the make up” That’s what I recall off the top of my head. Someone named ‘Richie’ something. ---

Not \*quite \*what you’re looking for, but a looong time ago a local shopping mall (Tysons Corner) had a radio ad based on that song: they replaced the names of artists with the names of stores, and the chorus was something like “We’ve got 'em all at Tysons Corner.” It was kind of clever. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be on YouTube. ☹ ---

The Wiki page doesn’t mention this, but I remember reading that the lyrics were artificially speeded up. Anybody else remember this? Lyrics can be found [here](http://www.lyricsfreak.com/r/re+union/life+is+a+rock_20234404.html). There are people who charge for lyrics? All I do is put the song title plus “lyrics” and literally a million results are available. ---

[Here’s mine](http://www.singsnap.com/karaoke/r/b6a339cbf). A karaoke DJ dared me to sing it a few years ago. It took a _long_ time to learn, and many screwed up attempts. For a while I had to read the lyrics off my phone (the onscreen ones are way too slow to follow), but I eventually got them memorized. If there’s ever a karaoke Dopefest, I’ll do it live. ---
