“'Who are you??!!” “We are three wise men.” “What??” “We are three wise men!” “Well, what are you doin’ creepin’ around the cowshed at 2 o’clock in the morning?? Doesn’t sound very wise to me!” This is indeed great news! The thing I liked most about this movie is the perspective it places on any religion, just the absurdity of the whole concept. “You know what the penalty is for 'arboring a known criminal?” “No.” “Crucifixion!” “(Nonchalantly) Oh.” “Nasty, eh?” “Could be worse, could be stabbed.” “Stabbed?? Takes a second! Crucifixion is a slow, 'orrible death!” “Well, at least it gets you out in the open air.” ---

I hope they market it with the original 1979 tagline: “See the movie that’s controversial, sacrilegious, and blasphemous. But if that’s not playing, see The Life of Brian.” Heh ---

I haven’t seen this movie since its initial release in 1979. Recently, I’ve been tempted to buy the DVD, but this is even better! “I am \*not \* the Messiah!” "I say you _are_, Lord. And I should know, I’ve followed a few. " ---
