Evidently, this is one of the tools for making it simple: ignore the facts. Her insanity wasn’t a product of environment or a bad childhood. It was a result of the ** chemicals ** in her brain. Her insanity was a psychological manifestation of a ** physical ** problem. Is it a blind person’s fault that they cannot see?
Because of precisely the above. This woman went mad for physical, chemical reasons that are unique to females.

As disgusting as I find him and his contribution to this tragic situation, I think he’s experiencing a direct and very powerful price for his behavior: the deaths of all his children and the loss of his wife. If that doesn’t resonate with him, I doubt much else would.

If I’m ever convicted of Capital Murder, you may all rest assured that I’M asking for the needle. Better that than wasting 50 years doing absolutely nothing, learning absolutely nothing, and accomplishing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
I think that is more cruel than lethal injection, by far. It would drive me nuts.
