Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 73 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 92 and once again hawt and hyooooomid. It must be Summer in south Jawja! 😃 I need to mow da yahd this evenin’. ICK! Sorry for the AWOL yestiddy. After ridin’ the south forty I was slammed with paperirk. I came home, made dindin, went to Evenin’ Prayer over to the church house, came back home and crashed. I was tahrd! Today I’m supposed to ride the east forty, then it’s back to irk for more irksome paperirk stuff. Lots of stoopid stuff to get done by the end of the fiscal year which is June 30th. Yay for your ‘puter workin’ **Spaz**! Everybody else, yays, boos, hugs, smooches, noogies, trouts, chitlins, how _you_ doin’s as needed. Time for more caffiene and to feed rumbly tummy. I made the executive decision not to ride the east forty today. I have stuff to get done at irk and also it’s already hawt outside so I don’t feel like ridin’ miles and miles and miles and miles. Plus also, there’s cookies here to be eaten. Can’t let that go undone now can I? 😃 ---

Hiyas! Didja miss me?? We’ve been at the boat getting it ready to be looked at by the broker. It now has its sails up, its dodger on, its decks pressure washed and just about all of our personal stuff removed. Tomorrow, we’ll go back and do the cleaning - I’ll be wiping down the wood surfaces in the cabin with Murphy’s oil soap and Old English. Other surfaces will be scrubbed as appropriate. It will look and smell clean. The broker is coming at noon. We’re going to talk to him about price and if we should do anything before we officially list it. Structurally and systems-wise, it’s in great shape, but cosmetically, it needs help. The question is - how much of the cosmetic work should we do and how much of a difference will it make. Then we decide where to go from here. And if it hasn’t sold by fall, we’ll take it to Annapolis and put it in the broker’s boatyard - it’ll be cheaper to have it sitting on dry land and there’ll be more people shopping there than here. I ordered some dresses ( :eek: yes, dresses :eek: ) and they were delivered today. I need to shower and try them on - I like a couple of them already, and a couple others, I’m not sure about. So we shall see… Daughter will be coming for supper tonight - last day with the kids was today. I’m sure she’ll be happy! 😃 I think I need a shower now… ---

grrrrrrr - don’cha hate when you bake something and as soon as you put it in the oven, you see an ingredient you forgot?? Like baking powder?? Oh well… Maybe cool whip will disguise my failure. 😃 Oh, yeah, my dresses all look pretty good, altho the 2 sleeveless ones need to be taken in under the arms - an easy fix. So I now own 5 dresses!!! :eek: ---

Howdy Y’all! I’ve had dindin, mowed da yahd and had a shower. It’s all cloudy out so maybe it will rain. It did rain at irk before I left but has not rained at da cave. Dindin was easy. I stopped at the sto and picked up some fried chicken and cole slaw then fixed some field peas with snaps to go with it all. Easy peasy dindin. I’s tahrd! **MOOOOOOM** why the sudden need for dresses? You goin’ to start welcomin’ FCD home everyday in a dress, high heels and pearls? 😃 ---

Excellent name, **rosie**! Sorry about the stress, **LiLi**. Hope it lets up a bit. I too was wondering about the dresses. Crazy week at work, but I’ve been taking long walks and enjoying fireflies and bats and…foxes. We saw three young foxes (we’d seen them early this spring when they looked like large kittens) playing in the church parking lot (next to woods) last night. So glad tomorrow is Firday… Hugs all.
