# Life's picture perfect moments

I’ve been a photography buff most of my life and it seems like I never have the camera ready at the right moments. This morning, for example, as I was getting ready for work I saw a vision that actually stopped me in my tracks.

As I walked back into the partially dark bedroom, I saw my wife resting before getting up. The combination of her (and I was stunned by how absolutely amazing she looked), the muted lighting in dark reds and golds, and her pose that could have been straight out of a Degas painting, all combined in a visual moment I don’t think I’ll ever forget. She was a perfect and sexy centerpiece to a real life classical painting.

And I said to myself “Why don’t I have my camera?”. But on thinking about it, it was such a special moment that I don’t think I could have done justice to it anyway. This way it’s all mine, captured forever in my mind’s eye, not to share with anyone. I actually had a difficult time walking away and continuing to get ready for work, she was so incredibly beautiful and completely unaware of it at the same time.

It was perfect.
