I loved what Bill Maher said tonight about the bear hug… he said it was good because here’s a Republican White Man “touching one and nothing bad happened.”

When I lived in DC I worked at numerous events where the Pres or VP attended and the SS never once said anything to people about how to behave toward them. But we certainly knew that they could shoot us!

It was great because it looked genuine and very likely was. I can’t imagine it happening to Romney- with him you give him a weak handshake and immediately excuse yourself to wash your hand.

Then we need to find someone to do the bear hug. Someone who isn’t afraid of a little jail time in service to the higher good of deciding the issue, once and for all.

I’d volunteer, but I’m female and to be true to science, it has to be a man-hug (otherwise, it might be misunderstood as a sexual assault and/or drag in all that Mormon piety stuff)
