Now that you’ve learned that jobs aren’t static, I will teach you a second lesson: many variables matter in how many jobs are created.

Population growt and immigration rate did not shoot up in 2007.

Specifically, while labor is an important component in business growth, capital and liquidity are too, both of which are rather more relevant to what happened in 2007 than how many people were job hunting at the time.

The vast majority of Americans are against Illegal immigration.

Luckily for us, we have two large oceans, and Mexico to the south, and the very easy to get along with Canada to the North.

Deportation can be tricky and expensive, so how about this.

1 ) Anyone who enters and resides in the USA illegally for 3 months or more can never become a citizen and vote.

2 ) Corporations or individuals who hire illegal workers must get a permit. The permit requires a genetic ID, and a photo id card paid for by the employers. Tax the workers double, and make the fine for employers harsh if they try to get around the law.

3 ) If arrested and convicted of a felony, deport them.

4 ) If their children are born in the USA ( Anchor baby ) they can be citizens, but they can not run for office or vote.

Have you ever even been 16 in a state like Texas, where all the employers give you the run around and all the jobs at the entry level are taken by illegals? This sounds like the kind of bullshit my parents pulled then, refusing to pay for me taking the SAT unless I got a job, and of course I had a great deal of difficulty getting one as basically a shiftless teenager without experience. I don’t blame employers for choosing the better candidate - a hard working Mexican is clearly the right choice - but those folks shouldn’t have even been in the labor pool. And of course, once I did get a job, the restaurant kitchen sounded like we were in Mexico. I was the majority, in a country that my grandparents had fought for, my dad barely dodged the draft with an exemption, and I myself eventually served in the military.

What exactly did the illegals do? Why should I have had to compete with them for jobs, or learn Spanish or be left out? Da fuq.

As for genetics, fine, let’s say it’s just culture. Mexico is a corrupt shithole. Let in limitless Mexicans - legal or illegal - and maybe this country will become a corrupt shithole as well. Well, more than it already is.

Nope, I was 14 years old looking for a job in Massachusetts, which also has a very large immigrant population, I found one bagging groceries in a grocery store, in a majority immigrant community…didn’t matter to me or bother me what language anyone spoke as long as I got a check. my grandfather fought in the Korean war, brother was in the army but I still don’t feel like I deserve anything better than anyone else simply cause I was born here. Mexican immigrants have been coming here since literally before we were a nation… our country already is a corrupt shithole. It sure as shit isn’t cause of the immigrants though.

Also my parents didn’t pay for my SATS. Sounds like you just got a boo boo in your privileged spot and don’t know who to blame.

Net migration is at a negative, which means less people are coming to U.S from Mexico than vice versa. honestly your opinion is nothing based on facts and solely hate filled fear mongering. research, think, speak. and before anyone starts talking about Trumps border laws, study ranges from 2009-2014.
