# Lincoln Gay

I looked up at Lincoln Monument and could hear his voice “pervs, pervs, what have I begat by saving this union?” Men slept together all the time back then. Stop at a tavern for room and board, you most likely shared a bed with another dude. Famous story of John Adams and Ben Franklin sharing bed, with all-night hissy fits about if the window should be open or closed. Leave Abe alone already, that’s the last thing he needs to hear up there.
