# Lines you picked up from a movie, show or game

If someone says “I like it”, I can’t resist the temptation to say “I like it, I like it a lawt” a la Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber.

Mention shrimp, and I’ll often start muttering off Bubba’s list of things you can do from Forrest Gump. I also often say “We was like peas and carrots agin” or “I was runnnnnin!” and “Run, Forrest, Run!”

“It’s called a \_\_\_\_\_, hellooooo” from Watt in A Knight’s Tale.

And many more.

Office Space quotes seem to permeate my wife and I’s dialogue, seems to be one for most situations.

Have to get up early for something? " I’ve been getting up at 6 a.m. to drag my ass up to Las Colinas. Putting the drywall in the new McDonald’s."

Like a particular artist’s work: " I celebrate the guy’s entire catalog"

Insulting each other: “no talent ass clown”

Requesting a half day of vacation: " This isn’t a half day or anything"

Get something you really didn’t want? “What am I going to do with forty subscriptions to Vibe”

Feeling frisky? “I’m going to show her my O face”

Someone screws up: " Did you get that memo?"

There are so many more, I can’t believe I’m the first to toss these out.
