I just want to mention that a number of sources point out that the ancient Greeks and Romans did not revere large genitals. Lots of pottery, mosaics, etc. depict heroes and athletes with downright small equipment. Large genitals were the property of foreigners, grotesque drawfs, and weird figures like Priapus (and occasionally Hermes/Mercury – but not always). Unless you were some sort of fertility figure, Big Stuff = foreign = probably not as good as “us”.

So you’re telling us that the inboxes of the ancient Greeks were filled with “penis reducer” spam?

I remember reading that the Greeks seemed to associate having a large penis with being _beastlike_. You know, like a horse or a goat. Human beings and most gods were supposed to have more going on upstairs and a bit less downstairs.

There is, however, a well-documented link between **buttock** size and intelligence.

Hence the term, “smartass.”
