you know, if you want to test pretty much anything (except a sig), you can create a post and hit “preview post.” Everything that would work in a real post would work in the preview, and you take up less space that way.

You CAN test sigs that way, but after your test you have to click the box for your sig again before submitting your reply. That has worked in my experience.
