I have never figured out how to post a link to a thread found on SDMB. Any help?

A link to this thread (threadid # **91424** - look at the url your browser displays when you’re looking at the thread you want to link) would look like:

**{url=“[http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=91424](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=91424)”}Link to another thread?{**/url\*\*}\*\*

where you would replace the \*\*{\*\*s and \*\*}\*\*s with \*\*[\*\*s and \*\*]\*\*s

I might add that it’s easiest to just copy and paste the url from whatever you call the window where your browser displays it. Also, be mindful to include the quotation marks before and after the url.
