# Linked from another thread

This is a proof of concept “interim” thread for linking to posts without the thread title appearing in the backlink under the post.

I envision this being a major pain in the butt to use and probably not an acceptable solution, so if the mods want to close it, no objections.

Let’s say you’re posting in a pit thread devoted to pointing out trolling, and want to link to a post you think is trolling. Add a post here linking to that post. Then, in the troll thread, add a post linking to the post you just added here.

Again, this is just a proof of concept to see if it even works.
