Ok, I give up. Is there any way to target a specific reply in a link when the person has made several replies in the thread? For example, in [this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=44055) thread, I wanted to link to Anthracite’s second reply so that it would come up. I found a few post id #s in the source code, but replacing the thread id # and post id # in a dummy url didn’t work. Is there any way to do this?

IIRC, the search function will go the users post if said user has only posted once in the thread, but what works for sorting between multiple replies?

Going directly to a post #:

Hover over the post’s Quote button (or right-click it) to get the number. Then plug into this
