# Links for comments on current column/classic column/mailbag items

After reading the current Mailbag item,

I decided to comment on it.  
The link at the end is coded

which brings you to limbo.

Shouldn’t the link be:  
[http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/forumdisplay.php?forumid=6](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/forumdisplay.php?forumid=6)

For the current Straight Dope Column and the Classic Straight Dope column, there is a link to “Comment on this column.” The link is coded as  
[http://www.straightdope.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/Ultimate.cgi](http://www.straightdope.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/Ultimate.cgi)  
That link will bring you to the right page. But shouldn’t it be coded as

or even  
[http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/forumdisplay.php?forumid=1](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/forumdisplay.php?forumid=1)  
to bring you directly to the “Comments on Cecil’s column” forum?
