A fairly simple question: How many links can one put in a post? ---

There is no formal limit that I’m aware of, either by programming or board rules. There certainly should be, though. ---

They are all creepy in nature, sort of a gear up for Halloween. ---

Hm… I just counted my links, there are over 100…It’s not quite like that post though. I was thinking about posting a sort of repository for creepy material from the web and good posts from the dope (like the very vaguely creepy stuff). Mayhaps I should rethink things. ---

If you have too many links in a post, I think it would end up being TLDR (like the one linked to by Drunky Smurf). You might want to break them up into categories, then devote one post to a category. ---

100 sounds pretty excessive. Maybe you could further categorize them and make more than one post (spaced out over time so you’re not coming off as spamming). ---

I need to update that one of these days… 🙂 I have another set from this year bookmarked. I just need to put it in HTML code format. I’d be interested in a creepy thread, btw. ---

Could I send you the email and you take a look to see if it’s acceptable? I don’t want it to come off as spam. My intent, as I said, is to have a repository for creepy stuff and I would like the thread to also be a place for people to input their own creepy stories (again like very vaguely creepy). ---

Creepy stuff is good. But, I like Colibri’s idea - break it up into categories (either by type - creepypasta, horror videos, creepy games, scary comics, etc - or by by theme - ghosts, monsters, the unknown, ‘normal things’ turned on their head, whatever - would be my suggestions) rather than just doing it as one big lump. ---

I hate to keep bumping this post, but I feel as though I should. I think that the post I intend to post is good and there shouldn’t be any trouble with me posting it - but since I’ve sent an email to one of the mods with the post (minus an additional link or two), I feel as though I should hold off on posting. Anyone want to weigh in?
