Are they allowed? [This post](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=7697069&postcount=14) wasn’t clear, because point 1. states that only paid members (I am not) may have a sig (I do). Point 3. says that paid members may have a link. Since point 1. is untrue, is point 3. untrue as well? ---

I’ll ask about point 1 because that may simply be out of date. But a paid member can, right?
