Thanks to all who so patiently bear with me as I struggle towards vB code mastery. in my defense, I am an artist so mechanical things are NOT my forte, however my posts are getting more technologically advanced. Now if I can just work on that spelling… But I digress. Three hints, WG: 1. The **quotation marks** before http and at the end are vitally important. Without those four tiny scraps of pixels, the link won’t make. And it’s sometimes confusing because the older version of board software, UBB, did not need these quotation marks, but vBulletin does. So if you’re used to UBB, it’s a change. 2. It won’t work if the **[url** part of it is the very first item in a post–it needs at least a carriage return in front of it. 3. Use Preview to check to see whether the link made. It’ll work from the Preview window. That is, if you did it right. 😉 This saves you the so-embarrassing “oops! would some kind-hearted mod please fix that?” second post. ---
