Thanks for providing description of another thing I certainly don’t need to look at, but the desccription does raise a question. How does he know he’s got all the pieces? Does he reassemble it like a 3d jigsaw puzzle? ---

It’s pretty gruesome, but not as bad as some I’ve seen. I heard it was actually a botched shotgun suicide attempt, but your explanation sounds equally likely given the pic I saw. The first time I saw it, it was presented as the aftermath of a non-helmeted motorcycle accident, but that was quickly debunked (the wound was huge, but very clean–no grit or fragments of anything in it). ---

I’m not interested in watching people die, anything involving coprophagia, gross medical conditions, or cruelty/torture (human or animal). I am puzzled sometimes by the number of people who will calmly watch people beaten, killed, or tortured, but freak out if the same thing happens to an animal. I noticed, for example, that _ivan astikov_, who presented himself in another thread as a fan of fistfights, posted in this thread that he won’t look at deliberate animal cruelty. Apparently beating up a human is fine, but beating an animal isn’t. I don’t get that mindset. ---

That is why boxing and sports like that are popular…people are _choosing_ to push through physical pain and a hell of a beating in order to win. If an animal is just being cruelly _abused_…I don’t even see how those to situations compare. ---

The standards mentioned here - beheadings, human torture, animal cruelty, most graphic mutilations, etc., plus the various shock sites. I’ve avoided the latter so far. The “lotus breast” one mostly weirded me out because I have a minor phobia of clustered holes - I know there’s a word for it but am blanking on it. I’d get the shudders sometimes in high school biology class just looking at a section of a plant stem under the microscope. ---

Can I ask what lotus breast/boob is? I can’t imagine. And that tubgirl thing–I’ve never seen it, don’t want to, but it sounds physically impossible. Count me as someone who also cannot stand to see an animal suffer. It’s because animals are innocent, and often reliant on humans to treat them well. I get so angry when people mistreat animals. Few things make me angrier. (The BP oil spill–gush–makes me extremely angry, as well, and part of the reason is that it is causing animals to suffer. What makes it worse is that it is causing all of us to suffer, in many ways.) I’ve seen goatse (ew, but more stupid than disgusting) and some pretty horrific things on rotten dot com, and one very brief bestiality video which I would never, ever watch again, but the one that haunted me was someone being stoned in the Middle East–Saudi Arabia, I think. Everything about that video disturbed me.
