# Linux console on Toshiba Tecra 8000

I have RedHat 7.0 installed on a Tecra 8000 laptop. The console mode shows up as an 80x24 character space in the center of the screen; it takes up a little less than half of the total screen real estate. Does anyone know how ot get the console to take up the entire screen? I want as much character space as possible. I don’t plan to run X on this, I just want to run it in console mode as a dumb terminal of sorts.

Doh! Nevermind. I switched to a newer kernel and all is groovy now.
