# Lipstick Brand Question

What is this really, really shiney lipstick “polish” I’ve been seeing lately? It looks almost like you could peel it off, but it still looks great! I saw it across the room on someone and I noticed that at least one of the Olympic ice dancers was wearing it.
I don’t know if it’s really called a polish.

Could it be the long-wearing “paint” that you then put a topcoat over, like this:

There’s another version that has a glossy topcoat, rather than the balm shown here.
ETA to note that the version with the glossy topcoat does NOT, in fact, last 16 hours. Maybe 5-6 if you don’t eat.

Here’s a link to Beyonce’s ad for L’Oreal’s version of the product I’m thinking of - might give a better idea of this is the same look you saw.

Thanks for the suggestions. I don’t think that it is another gloss. This looks like something new.
I’ve tried to long-wearing paints before, but unless this has something new to offer…In rereading your post, I noticed that another version has a glossy topcoat rather than the look shown. Maybe the two in combination would be what I’ve seen.
Katriona, that look doesn’t seem shiny enough, but I would give up my search to look anything like Beyonce.
