What eyeshadow color goes best with dark red lipstick:confused:? ---

I think it depends on what you are wearing. I usually use grey-ish silver or brown on my eyelids, but I wear bright red lipstick. (Make sure you blot and set your lipstick before you kiss anyone, or you will end up marking them!) ---

For a real red, I’d stick to nudes or other soft browns for shadow, but you can be a little dramatic with black liner and mascara. As a rule, if you get dramatic with one part of your make-up, keep the rest on the natural side. ---

I have a bright fuchsia pink lipstick (NARS FunnyFace) and I love it. I’m very pale and it’s very flattering on me. A bright red is actually harder for me to wear but I use the same principle regardless of the colour of the lipstick, emphasis on one feature. If its lips, then a nude or soft shimmery gold eye with a little bit of eyeliner & mascara. If its a strong smokey eye, then its a pale nude or light pink lip. ---

I have speed dial by MAC and love it also! But not sure what other eyeshadow shades I can where that will look good with my skin tone(I’m dark) and flatter me at the same time besides purple… ---

I think something light and shimmery would be beautiful. Something with golden tones perhaps, i think it would look great? Not a solid block gold but a lighter wash of something more subtle. Bare minerals do some lovely shimmery colours and I’m somewhat obsessed with a golden Giorgio Armani ‘eyes to kill’ shadow, I’m sure MAC would have something perfect too, I just can’t think of a shade name at the moment. ---

Check out ‘woodwinked’, it’s deceptive in the pot but a beautiful golden tone on.
