IMO, Glenfiddich is the Bud Light of single malts. It’ll do in a pinch though.

Your standard Cuervo gold is fine for mixing margaritas or slamming down shots, if that’s what you’re into. If you want to serve a good sipping tequila, look toward the reposados and anejos. If you don’t have the budget for a top-notch tequila, Cuervo 1800 is a reasonable substitute.
