Your call for [a popular movement for Spoonerisms](http://www.straightdope.com/mailbag/mspoonerism.html) has already been answered by [The Capitol Steps](http://www.capsteps.com). Over the years, they’ve documented all sorts of Lirty Dies by such famous people as Wee Pee Herman (cops caught him when they were raking their mounds in a porn theater), Ked Tennedy (who was reputed to greet a woman dressed only in his shee tirt), and Clill Binton (who was a very gorney high who had trouble keeping his bowsers truckled). There’s a new Lirty Die about the Chatholic Curch on their home page. ---

Archie Campbell used to tell spoonerized fairy tales on _Hee Haw_. There were, among other, “The Pee Little Thrigs” and “Rindecella” (who “slopped her dripper”). ---

Jonathan – trust the system. You only need to hit “SUBMIT” once. If it’s running slow, that’s OK, it will get there eventually. Hitting SUBMIT multiple times has the effect that you see above. Which means that you, like history, seem to repeat yourself. And welcome to the Straight Dope! ---
