Now the thread is about slamming _Showgirls_, on account of, you know, it used to really bug **lissener**. I’m still a little surprised at the enthusiasm with which so many showed up, not to weigh in on this particular complaint about **lissener** , but just for another bite at the apple of some previous squabble that left them unsatisfied. Did anyone actually think **Liberal** honestly wanted **Colibri** to research for him a grievance against **lissener**? It may be just reflex. It may be just that **Colibri** is celebrating the anniversary of _his_ pitting. But, gee, a little dab of I-was-Insulted-He-is-Without-Honor sure goes a long way, huh? And apologies to anyone for whom this post delays their enjoyment of **Vinyl Turnip** ’s next masterpiece, be it an excuse to say cow shit or a clever allusion to someone’s real-life financial problems (if the latter’s played out, perhaps something else would do – does anyone have a dying relative? Help a poor root vegetable out). ---
