Is it true Lissener scammed kind hearted posters out of money a few months ago? This is in the related ATMB thread.

[Here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=527208) is a thread where **lissener** posts about having lost it all. As far as I can tell through a quick skimming, only one person blatantly offered money.
I don’t know about the thread where he asks for restaurant recommendations in Seattle.
