I’m watching an episode of _Good Eats_, and I noticed Alton Brown is wearing a Rolex GMT Master II on a leather strap. He seems to have quite a collection of watches, as I’ve noticed different ones on several occasions. Has anyone compiled a list of the watches he’s worn on the show? ---

Yeah, it’s a sickness. And it’s not just watches. Sometimes I’ll see a particular airplane in an old movie and wonder where it is now – and try to find it. Or I’ll scan the background in a scene to see what cars are back there. Or… You get the idea. FWIW, this particular watch had the ‘Pepsi’ bezel, which is blue and red. I opted for the back-and-red bezel because I liked it better, but I’ve always wanted one with the blue-and-red one. ---

Good start! I can’t blame Alton for wanting a Seamaster Pro. I used to work with a guy who liked my GMT II and wanted to get a nice watch for himself. He got a Seamaster Pro, and it was very nice. I wanted one too. ---

I noticed the GMT Master on the leather strap that Alton was wearing too. Does anyone know where to get a leather strap like that? I’ve tried googling it and can’t seem to find anything. ---

If you’re looking for a similar strap, I suspect that you can find one at most watch stores or by googling. (I know you said you googled, but I don’t know if you meant you couldn’t find the exact strap.) ---

I watched the first half of _Godfather II_ today. N3254S is on a scene, so naturally I had to look it up. It’s currently in Eastern Washington, and is an an anachronism since it’s a ['64](http://www.aircraftexchangenetwork.com/listman/listings/images/12_2.jpg) and the scene takes place in ['58](http://www.wingshare.com/Aircraft%20by%20state/c182a.jpg). ---

Man, I just can’t stomach it. He’s got his fingers in so many fruity pies, I can’t take him straight anymore. Expensive watches, dozens of pairs of glasses. I can’t even tell who he is anymore! Hawking grapejuice with homeopathic reason and pseudoscience must really pay well.
