I’m working on a title for a book, and I was hoping to scan through some old silver-age comic story titles for inspiration. I’m hoping to evoke some of that over-the-top excitement. But, surprisingly (ASTONISHINGLY!!!) I can’t find any lists of classic comic book story titles. I figured between the Marvel wiki, etc., that there would be a list of story titles for specific comic books (i.e., every Thor story, every Fantastic Four story, etc.) or specific writers (every Stan lee story), but I can’t find anything. [This](http://www.comicvine.com/profile/etragedy/lists/recommended-silver-age-comics/29528/) is a good start, but it’s just one person’s favorites. Anyone with more powerful Google-fu that can help me? ---

Actually, if by “Classic” you mean typical Silver Age comics, the titles themselves aren’t all that impressive. DC titles tended to be pretty prosaic and descriptive (“THe Luther-Braniac Alliance”). Marvel titles could be, too, (“The Coming of Galactus”) but they could also be purple prose, often ripped off from movie titles (“THe Good, The Bad, and the Uncanny!”)
