LITTLE GIRLS as a horror cliche - please, please, end this already!

“One, Two, Freddy’s coming for you…”

Aww, Baby Button Eyes…

I find children totally scary, but they have been overused lately. Horror phases are natural. The last few I can recall were slasher serials, then self-reflexive Scream clones then remakes of Japanese horror. That last phase seems to be waning, though, so the OP may be in luck. Oh, and I loved The Ring and Hostel but hated Saw, so to each her own.

Night of the Living Dead and the Dawn of the Dead remake both used evil little zombie girls effectively.

She even showed up in Vamp (which, unrelatedly, starred Grace Jones).

If you know the film, you can remember the scene.

And as of last nights feature at the multiplex, there was a little blood-soaked vampire girl in ‘30 days of night’. Although, now that I think about it, I’m not sure if that feature qualified as a horror flick. It was about as scary as a National Geographic.
