I hate it that Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s are so close together. There’s hardly time to clean up from one before you have to prep for another one. It’s especially bad if you are attending or teaching school between September and January. ---

It bugs the crap out of me when people say “anyWHO” instead of anyway or anyhow. It also bugs the crap out of me when anybody over the age of 3 uses the word “potty.” And the only people who should be making jokes about 69 are 13 year old boys. Yes, it’s both a number AND a sex act. We get it. STFU. ---

I hate it when a thread about ostensible insanity turns into run-of-the-mill mini-rants . But I know, that’s just crazy talk. Also, it bothers me that reality isn’t real, but won’t fess up to it. I keep anticipating my sensory world to pull off its mask and say “ha ha, just kidding!” but it annoyingly persists in upholding this “reality” facade, despite the flickers of things I see out of the corner of my eye sometimes. ---

He played a game called “Suicide” where somebody would take the mic, and he would ask the audience for some random numbers. The numbers would determine the disc and song, and then the person with the mic would attempt to sing the song whether they’d ever heard it or not. Boy he got tired of people shouting out “69!” I’ll bet the people who shout out “69!” think they’re being really edgy. And most of them would probably never actually _perform_ a 69. ---

When people use an abbreviation for something they’re using once (often in a post) and them write out the complete phrase, like “IANAL (I am not a lawyer)…”. If you abbreviate it’s to make the text shorter not longer. Write out an abbreviation you’re going to be using frequently in a document. Don’t do it when you’re using it once!! ---
