‘peachy keen’ and ‘spiffy’ ‘pissed as a poet on payday’ beats the standard ‘waaasted, mate’ by a long way. ‘ever-so-slightly’ describing things as ‘legend!’ (not legendary, note - we don’ need none of that grammar!), and also ‘from nam’/‘nammishly’. As in ‘the party from nam’ or ‘nammishly good’ ‘fuckin A!’ ---

I used both of these today and got the most perfect blank looks imaginable: “After a fashion” “Of necessity” I would also like to see “willy-nilly” make a comeback. I just like the sound of it. Finally–I’m a pagan, and don’t normally swear by, with, or at Jesus, but I’m going to make an exception for **Canuck** ’s contribution. I’ll balance things out with **Kal** ’s Buddha bit. 😃 ---
