It’s amazing what you find on the internet. [http://www.the-last-unicorn.net/index.htm](http://www.the-last-unicorn.net/index.htm) First thought: “Eeep eeep! Yippie-skippie!” _giggle_ Second thought: “Cripes, I hope they don’t screw it up…” Third thought: “Is Christoper Lee just going to be in _everything_ now?” Overall, I shall be quite happy when/if this ever comes out. It’s one of my favorite books, and I’ve never been fully satisfied with the animated version. (It has its good points, but it also has Mia Farrow singing.) Poking through the website, I see that Peter Beagle is involved (good). So, any other _Last Unicorn_ fans out there? What do you guys think? ---

😮 The movie, the music, the dialogue… it was absolutely a life-defining event. Like **arisu** , I’m simultaneously filled with anticipation and fear that they’ll mess it up. Thanks for the heads-up. ---

Huh? The three cast members that have been announced all played the same roles in the animated version. Isn’t that unusual? Will they be getting (the best actor in the world!) Alan Arkin and Mia Farrow up in this action too? (Although they would be too old to play Schmendrick and Amalthea). Are we sure this is legit? ---

I just thought it was a nice touch to get the same actors as the ones that did the voice work. I can’t think of anyone more suited for those roles.
