Living in "near totality" Eclipse zone. Down here in lil'ol' Arkansas!

Arkansas is under a State of Emergency. (I imagine all states in the path are) Good Lord.
:flushed:

Looks like, not only am I trespassed from the Pizza joint. The wait time is 3 hrs. Add to it the extra add-on 30-45 minutes. Equals up to “No Pizza” for @beckdawrek .

On to plan B

Well, the weather report ain’t good.

Tsk. Tsk.
Fingers are crossed.

Looks like my brother is in luck. Showing Sunny for tomorrow. Sorry about your luck Beck.

Actually, it is more dangerous, because your pupils are more dilated than usual, since it is darker than usual.

But that’s not why I came in to post! I wanted to tell @Beckdawrek that I am in Ohio for the eclipse and, at the special iteration of the county fair that has been set up for the eclipse, I had my first ever corndog. Beck, I thought of you while I ate it!

Which also increases your reflex to blink or look away.

Nice!

I might have made a bigger effort to change my dialysis schedule had I known Corndogs might be available.

Toronto is getting 99.97%. It would be a short drive in a south-east direction to get to totality except Lake Ontario is in the way.

Boat ride?

Yup, for anyone who owns one, and their friends. And I imagine that Toronto has “party boats”, too (Cleveland does), and they probably made a mint selling an “eclipse cruise”.

Hey. I thought of this last year. Dang. Missed the boat again.
Just…a little planning and I coulda…oh, NM
