Personally, I would recommend a good bout of Quake 3 or Unreal Tournament over any drug. But that’s just my weenie, drug-free (nothing against the stuff, just never got around to it) opinion. ---

Dodgy, If you’re planning to wait till you come to England to take ecstasy, you should be aware that it’s a Class A drug, which means that the penalties for posession and/or supply are pretty harsh if you’re caught. ---

FWIW: I have done more acid than anyone I know… and I know a lot of people who do drugs!! 😉 **I** have never had a bad experience with it, nor have I suffered any negative physical effects… BUT: I am _weird_, I have always been weird, I will always be weird! Whenever I am asked (by someone who has never taken acid) if they should do it, I **always** advise against it!!! It’s hard to explain, but taking acid is a _changing_ experience… and very often for the worse!! (in my case, admittedly, it was for the better… but, again, I am **weird** ) For me, acid mellowed me out incredibly… but for many others that I know personally, it made their psychological problems worse! **IF** you decide to do this, be CAREFUL! LSD will strip you to the bone, and force you to reconstruct yourself from the ground up! As I said, it’s hard to explain, but it IS scary if you are of the wrong outlook on life/personality… **Astrofiancee** is very eager to try pot; and I can’t wait until we get to do it together, as I know she’ll love it, and we’ll have GREAT fun! But there is no way in hell I’d ever let her try LSD!! It has nothing to do with her being “weak” psychologically, or anything else that impugnes her character at all… it’s just that it takes a particular type of personality (not better or worse… just different) to watch reality melt around them, and come back either not changed, or changed for the better… Please be careful! If you decide to do this, make sure that you are in a good mood at the time (and if I scared you a bit, DON’T DO IT AT ALL!). Please trust me here… whatever you are feeling/thinking when you take acid, you take WITH YOU into the trip… 12 hours can be a LONG time!! If you simply MUST, but are a bit unsure, do mushrooms first (the effects are stronger, usually, but shorter in length)… ---

I don’t know about any of you, but drug abuse nearly killed ol’ **Spooje**. I’ve known a lot of people it _did_ kill, as well as a lot of people who ended up in prison. But then, I’m a reformed degenerate junkie. YMMV. I’m not saying that will happen to you, but I didn’t think it would happen to me. I know that no one asked. Just something to think about. I’ll go away now. ---

Maybe in .01% to .001% of the stuff on the street or something like that. No way to _really_ know. ---

I think you’re saying you probably _won’t_ be doing this stuff, you were jsut mad. Still, on the chance… I agree with Spooge, second what he had to say- earlier I should have said …20 yrs. of **A** buse- Anyway, one good way to ameliorate a bad trip, to keep it from getting out of control is to remember and repeat to yourself that it’s the drug, that it will end, be gone in a few hours. Learned this early on from professionals, it works. (but I hope you never have cause to use it…) ---

i remember, back in the day, microdots were much ‘dirtier’ than blotter or windowpane. remember that clenchy feeling in the pit of your stomach and up your spine? street ‘wisdom’ used to call that the strychnine, reasoning that said poison constricted ones muscles. anyway, that clenchy feeling _was_ much less predominant when one took ‘cleaner’ stuff, like windowpane and blotter. no cite, dont have one.
